New "Developments"

We went to the Cape for a sleepover to see Auntie Molly and her girlfriend, Tracy. Mama put me down for a nap, and asked them to keep an eye on me while she and Nani Ga went to the store. What happened next? Check out my "bobos". I guess Mama dressed Auntie Molly up a lot when she was little. I think I'm in trouble.

One Shot? No Problem

Oh, forgot to tell you. Mama took me to Dr. A's on Friday for a shot. Here's how it went down. Me: hungry and nursing, but keeping an eye on this nurse person in the room. Nurse person takes out a funny-looking stick and brings it towards my thigh. I pick my head up, look at it, and then go back to nursing. Suddenly I feel a sting. I look at mama, make a momentary grunt noise, and then go right back to nursing and playing with mama's necklace. Mama is making all kinds of a fuss. Me? Fine. No sweat. See my badge of courage on my thigh??

Takin' the T train to B-town

Auntie Sara and cousins Caitlin and Max came to Cambridge today. We took the T to Boston. There were so many things and people to look at on the T. I was taking it all in. Here we are at a playground in the Common. I'm squeezed between my two big cousins.

Then, when we came home, Aunt Sara brought in a new 'office'. Its a big play area for me. I can hardly contain my excitement! Life is so much fun. First, I learn that there is more than milk out there, and then this. What's next?!

Swing high, sweet cherry-o!

I LOVED the swing! But not the glasses. Mama had them on too tight and they left marks on my face. Mama felt so bad.

Big Girl!

Testing out my highchair. Mama says only a couple of weeks until I can eat real food! I like the view from here. Can keep an eye on everything.

Hey, Where Did It Go?

Deck be gone! All that banging, hammering and loud machines are keeping me awake. I like going out and watching the construction though. If I could crawl, I'd be all over that dirt. Looks like so much fun!

Chic or What?!

Mama found me in my crib quite disheveled today. I took my sock off (a regular occurrence), and also got my arm through the neck of my shirt. Do I look European Chic?!

Hiding under the Couch

I am obsessed with wood floors. Love them. Mama puts me on the carpet and I find my way to the wood floors. I almost make my way under the couch because I slip and slide on my beloved wood floors. Mama always picks me up before I go any further. Bummer. It would be fun to hide under there.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

I love my daddy! He calls me "Roo", sings and rhymes all the time, and kisses my feet constantly! Happy birthday, daddy! Now, when do I get to try some yummy cake?

I'd Rather Play Than Nap...

I see mama! Do you see me? I'd much rather play, and take off my socks and pants, than sleep.

I was a little stuck here. Mama unstuck me.

Getting Stronger!

Look at me sitting up all by myself! I can hold my sit for a few minutes now, until I crane my neck to see mama or daddy or Phoebe the Cat. This new green block is so much fun, too. I can pick it up, toss it, eat it and roll on it. The tags are the most delicious part, too.
Here I am at Uncle Matt's in my 'pre-crawl' position - up on hands and knees! Yup. Watch out mama and daddy, watch out world, here I come! I'm rearing to go, as soon as I gather up enough strength. I'm working on it!!

Pacification

I am getting quite good at finding my big toe, and putting it in my mouth. I suck it like its a thumb. Very flexible. I take my socks off, too, when mama isn't looking. Who cares if my feet get purple from being so cold. I'd rather be able to eat them. I am also moving all over the place. I can get up on my toes and push way up on my hands. I roll, roll, roll. Mama put a fuzzy new carpet on the floor and I love playing on it! I'll play for two hours ~ as long as mama comes and plays with me for a little bit. I much prefer people to toys.
